Do you write diary?

The point of diary is that you write it every day, like brushing your teeth. I am appalled (to overcome with consternation, shock, or dismay ) by people who say they only write when they have something interesting to record. In my eyes, a diary is not about highlights, but quotidian .(everyday, ordinary) It is about what you think and do on a dull day as much as on an exciting one. Of course maybe you will write more on an exciting one. But recording the dog days (boring days) has the value too. My earliest diary dates from 13 years ago, when I was in the fourth grade in the primary school. My father sent me a diary notebook as my birthday present. Plus, it was also with a small lock and key. I was so excited that I could own such a beautiful notebook and can write my own thoughts and life. What is more, I felt the respect from my parents due to the lock of the notebook. Although mostly I wrote some simple sentences and meaningful things in present eyes, the diary became my necessary

Is it possible to have a common tongue?

Can there are be a global English for global people? Specifically, Globish could be called the dialect of the globalization class- the people from places like Finland or Greece who meet in Shanghai to do business deals in English with people from India or Brazil. Globish is an attempt by non-English speakers to work out a language –based on English –in which they can communicate. In fact, as long as the 1920s, the British academic and critic IA Richards formulated Basic English, an 850 words version of English for use in China. However, it did not take off. Languages are not invented by experts and handed down. They evolve, like living things. That’s why Globish is becoming popular. It was invented by its speakers to meet their actual needs. The Golbish vocabulary has around 1500 words, compared to the 615,000 words recorded in the Oxford English Dictionary. It consists of words that can easily be recognized by non-English speakers. More obscure and specific words are explained in simp

safe in a crazy world

I am listening a wonderful song by Corrinne May : safe in a crazy world Safe in a crazy world I try to smile my tears away, I try to keep my cool. Oh but one more door gets in my way I feel like such a fool Trampled and bitter, My heart just wants to bleed and stop Believing in me. It feels like nothing is for certain and that nothing comes for free When they're lowering the curtain to the theatre of my dreams I stumble and i crumble and I'm sinking to my knees for you You cradle me You keep me flying You keep me smiling You keep me safe in a crazy world You understand me Embrace my fragility You keep me safe in a crazy world And in your arms I find the strength to believe in me again Noise keeps chasing me No matter where I go Oh and life likes pretending that it's on a TV show When it's hard to tell what's real From what the world just wants to preach You are the voice I seek You keep me flying You keep me smiling You keep me safe in a crazy world understand me

awful people

In the world, there are always some awful people to remind us the reality of the society is not ideal as we think. They are fond of pretend being sanctimonious, just like the wolves in sheep’s clothing. I have to open my eyes and stay awake to protect myself. In fact, one of my used admired teachers is such a kind of person. He is some kind successful, with one of the top awards by the government due to his achievement in the academic field. Plus, he is also a successful enterpriser who owns a famous manufactory in Shenzhen. And, he is planning to invest another machine factory in Hangzhou. Therefore, in the eyes of the world, he is a celebrity with great fame and wealth, admired by most of people. However, in some other fields, he is a squalid guy, because he is a lady-killer. He makes use of his status and fame to trap his young students. Of course, it is a two-side business. Once the girl accepts his lure, she must be some kind of person—van and shallow. As you can imagine, these pe

Do not let anyone steel your dream

I remeber as a small child when would have these gatherings with either family of friends. Invariably somebay would come up and mention my "cuteness" and ask,"what are you going to be when you grow up?" Well, it started out being a hero or some kinds of superstars. Later it was a scientist, lawyer ,journalist ---- As I grew up and got into the university, there was the simliar question"what is your major", which is designed to find out what I would be when I "grew up". By then I had my heart set on becoming an engineer, since I had began to study the coursed in the university. During the following years, the methodical coursed of study, the challenging experiments, the interweaving of theory and practice, and the tangible results of a successful experiment all appealed to my disciplined and inquisitive nature. However, for many, there is a "thief",which goes around stealing our dreams and robbing us of the necessary mental state to atta
