Generation Y-Let's all get rich and famous

It is natural for humans to ssk attention, but the generation Y, born after the early 1980, are reveling in (沉迷于某物). They are used to being notices, and being showered with praise.

"Society taught us money is glamorous and everybody wants to be glamorous," said Jason Head, a 26-year-old wannabe actor. According to a survey, 81 percent of 18-to-25 year-olds saying that getting rich is their most important goal", and 51 percent said the same about being famous. In the modern life, the culture is " the way we distinguish ourselves is by our stuff."

Generation Y have more pathways to fame. They can be celebrities in their own world by being on a reality TV show, posting a video on the Internet or creating an online reality show starring themselves. They are familar with MySpace, YouTube, and so on. Sometimes, they even present themselves on the Web insted of having the intimacy of real communication.
